"Growing as Disciples In Christ" Programme (Module 1)

"Rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." Colossians 2:7

The Discipleship & Nurture (D&N) Ministry is running the first of its 3-module "Growing as Disciples In Christ" programme (GDIC), starting with Module 1 from January 2026. 

Based on the established Navigators: The 2:7 Series, GDIC has benefitted many disciples at BRMC - and beyond - in strengthening their walk with God through a guided approach in a supportive community. 

Grow your ability to hear God’s voice through regular reading, meditating, memorising and studying God's word.

Deepen your prayer life by learning to respond to God's word individually, as well as praying for one another through conversational prayer. 

Increase your confidence and desire to share about the gospel through your personal salvation story.

Continue to grow in Christ-likeness as you commit to do His will and seek Him in your everyday life.

PROGRAMME SCHEDULE
GDIC Module 1 will be held over 12 weeks and you can choose to attend one of the two available groups - weekly sessions will take place either on Tuesdays (8-10pm) or Saturdays (10am-12pm), and mostly via Zoom with some onsite meetings.

After Module 1, participants are strongly encouraged to continue on to Module 2 (11 weeks) and Module 3 (11 weeks), which will conclude with a celebration event to mark the completion of the 34-week programme.

COST
The Module 1 book "Growing Strong in God's Family" ($18) will be used as a guide for the weekly discussions.
