Baptism & Membership

All candidates for baptism and membership at BRMC, including transfers from other churches, must attend the BMC that's run half-yearly here.
 
Registration dates of BMC 1H2027 will be announced closer to the start of the new run. Please ensure that you meet all the criteria stated on this page and apply before registration closes. 

1) Have a living and active commitment to Jesus Christ as your Saviour, Master, and Lord;

AND EITHER
2a) Have been worshipping in person at BRMC weekend services for at least 6 months, as at the date of your application; OR
2b) Have been active in a BRMC Connect Group for at least six months, as at the date of your application;

AND EITHER
3a) Have successfully completed a run of the Alpha Course; OR
3b) Have successfully completed a run of Growing as Disciples in Christ (GDIC) Module 1;

AND
4) Attend all BMC sessions punctually, including reading the pre-assigned materials and participating actively in the small group discussions;

AND
5) Successfully complete a pastoral conversation / interview with a pastor, a pastoral team staff, or a lay leader;

AND
6) Submit all required forms and documents, including your personal testimony.

1) Your child being baptised must be under 16 years of age;

AND
2) At least one parent must be an official member of BRMC who has a living and active commitment to Jesus Christ as Saviour, Master, and Lord;

AND
3) Both parents must attend all relevant sessions of the Baptism and Membership Course (BMC) that are designated for parents;

AND
4) Parents must submit all required forms and documents.

AND
5) Parents must have successfully completed a pastoral conversation / interview with a pastor, a pastoral team staff, or a lay leader.

1) Have a living and active commitment to Jesus Christ as your Saviour, Master, and Lord;

AND
2) Have been previously baptised AND hold official membership in another Christian church, as at the date of your application;

AND EITHER
3a) have worshipped at BRMC weekend services, in-person, for at least 6 months, as at the date of your application; OR
3b) have been active in a BRMC Connect Group for at least 6 months, as at the date of your application;

AND
4) Attend all sessions of the Baptism and Membership Course (BMC) punctually, including reading the pre-assigned materials and participating actively in the small group discussions;

AND
5) successfully completed a pastoral conversation / interview with a pastor, a pastoral team staff, or a lay leader;

AND
6) Submitted all required forms and documents, including your personal testimony.
